ROCK the Valley’s Most Spectacular Street Party!
Live Music Every Mile
Music makes up the heart and "sole" of this event. It's more than a race; it's a 40-mile street party! Over 60 live bands will be performing a variety of music from reggae and jazz to country and rock.
The bands set the tempo for this 26.2 and 13.1 mile party, where runners and spectators alike will be "Dancin' in the Streets" to these mini-concerts.
Course Bands WANTED!
P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona is looking for local bands of all genres to play on the Marathon & ½ Marathon courses! Bands will be showcased to over 30,000 runners and 150,000 spectators, and will have a chance to gain national exposure on the television broadcast of the event.
Each band member will receive a free event T-shirt and a ticket to the evening Headliner Concert.

Cheer Squads Wanted!
Local high school cheerleaders and dancers are invited to join the race day fun! Help motivate and energize over 34,000 participants as they make their way to the finish line of the marathon and half marathon.

Finish Line Festival
Let the fun continue! Join your family and friends at the Finish Line Festival. Enjoy live music, refreshments and ice-cold *beer from Michelob Ultra at Arizona State University’s (ASU) Sun Angel Stadium. The finish lines for the Marathon & ½ Marathon are in the parking lots between ASU’s Sun Devil and Sun Angel stadiums in Tempe.

Post-Race Headliner Concert
Celebrate your extraordinary accomplishment with friends and family at the Post-Race Concert Celebration! Race participants receive free entry, and Extra tickets for family and friends can be purchased at www.rnraz.com or at the Health & Fitness Expo (Jan. 16 – 17).
Past acts include the Goo Goo Dolls, Jason Mraz, Collective Soul, Gin Blossoms and Kool & The Gang.

You've got spirit, yes you do!
The energetic Apollo High School cheerleading squad cheered their way to the top of the podium with their 80's Punk Rock theme winning the course prize of $1,000! Paradise Valley High School Junior Varsity Squad placed second with their Kiss theme and took home $750! Showing us they still have a great deal of holiday cheer, Desert Mt. High School cheered runners on with their Santa theme and took third place.
